Pretty Packages Party #3

Today's Pretty Package idea is brought to you by one of my favorite's....Martha.  Click here for the complete tutorial and video.  We're newbies to public school, but things have changed a bit since I was a teacher.  First, you can only bring store bought treats.  No cute homemade mummy cupcakes like the ones featured on Cupcakes Take the Cake.  No gingerbread skeleton cookies like the ones I saw in Family Fun magazine. No over-the-top, crazy cute spider brownie bites Bakerella made for Miss Paula Deen.  (They didn't even let me pass out the cute pencils I made for back to school. waah.  We passed them out to our friends afterschool, but still.  waah.)  Not sure if we will be able to pass something like this out either, but they would be adorable little teacher gifts.  If anyone out there in blogland has made these before, I'd love to see them and hear your feedback.

Next, I have a cute new party button:

The Blackberry Vine

What do you think?  There were some glitches in last months button so I decided to just do a TOTAL button redo.  Will probably do more "re-dos" in the future.  (Wouldn't it be nice if we could have more re-dos in life...like photo shop that pesky zit right off your face before an important meeting or deleting words you wish you hadn't said and repost?)

Now its time to share your wrapped packages!

This is a PRETTY PACKAGES PARTY so what I'm looking for is beautifully, interestingly, creatively wrapped gifts. The gifts could range from individual gifts, to party favors, to food gifts. At the end of the week (if I can wait that long,) I'll chose my favorites to share with everyone.

Please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then just copy and paste the address that shows up in the address bar at the top, into the "url" box for the picture linky. You'll also need to put your e-mail address in, but don't worry, it will not be visible to anyone.

It would be fantastic if you would include the Pretty Packages Party button in your post, to make it easy for others to find your Pretty Package post. To do that, just copy and paste the Pretty Packages Party button to your computer or grab the html code from underneath the Pretty Packages Party button on my sidebar.

Please include a link in your Pretty Packages Party post back to the host blog, The Blackberry Vine. Why is this important? When you include a link back to The Blackberry Vine, it ensures your regular readers/visitors will find the other gorgeously wrapped gifts linked to the Pretty Packages Party. If everyone links back, this maximizes the opportunity for visits for all who participate.

Please do not add your link below, until your Pretty Packages Party post is actually published to your blog. Another helpful hint...DO NOT type in all caps...it makes it very difficult to read! Thanks!

Last, but certainly not least, please comment on the post in front of you and behind you...spread the comment love!  I noticed many of you forget to get back to the party to do this.  It happens to me sometimes, too, but let's try extra hard this time to remember to comment...we have ALL week!

  6. Thanks so much for stopping by and letting me know about your great party! Sucks that you couldn't share your great treats with the kids. I taught in private, so I was lucky enough to still get away with that!
