Did I mention we were on vacation last week?!?

Can you tell were we went?

Thanks to some AMAZING in-laws, we all made some special memories at Walt Disney World.

Since I've been on my applique' kick (click here and here and here to see what I've been up to,) (click here to see the gals that got it all started,) I just had to put together some cute Mickey shirts.

Lucky for me, I have a sweet friend with an embroidery machine who loves my cake balls.  We did a little trade, cake balls for embroidery (she can't sell items with Disney script because it is copyrighted.)

I created this Mickey Mouse silouhette template and just followed the directions here.

They were a huge hit!

I can't tell you how many people stopped us to ask where we bought them or just to tell us they were cute.  Another bonus of having everyone wearing the same thing is that it makes it so much easier to keep track of everyone!  

 

Aren't they all so handsome?!?

Alison at Momma Did It threw a beautiful pink party for her little girl and served these gorgeous tea cup cupcakes!  So cute!

Dukes and Duchesses tried Martha's version of Mint Soap...that is SO on my To-Do list!

Another cute cupcake made my To Do list...this little duckie is the adorable creation of Closet Crafter!  I can just see it at a carnival party or Easter Egg Hunt!

Pretty Packages Party # 8

Welcome back to the Pretty Packages Party!

Easter is less than two weeks away so I went out in search of pretty Easter ideas.

Do you know how hard it is to not add every idea from Martha Stewart?!?

It's hard to find other beautiful ideas, but here are some.

Another great week of ideas!!!  So many to put on my TO-DO LIST!!

Here are just a few that I'd like to get to one day!

A friend of mine just did a re-do of her son's room in the surf motif...I wonder if she'd like me to make her one of these cute PB knock-offs from Glittered, Grunged & Branded?!?

No, I'm not one of the the Three Sisterz, I just wanna be!  This bib necklace made from vintage jewelry is such a timely idea for me!   I was just going through some of my Mem-Maw's costume jewelry last week...what a great way to give it new life and to wear something special from her?!  LOVE it!

Where can I put a great cabinet door chalkboard?!?

My favorite part about this one is the clever use of the drawer pull for storage...too cute!

Dukes and Duchesses made this one for her daughter's room from inspiration from another blog...isn't blogland the best?!?
